The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
