Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.
A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.
The arrests come after a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.
A toddler aged three was among the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later discharged.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Police were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.
The attack - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
